Exelon delays plan for Texas nuclear plant

Power generator Exelon says it’s calling off plans to build a new nuclear plant in Texas. The Chicago-based company said Tuesday that worries over the economy and limited availability of federal loan guarantees are the reasons behind putting the project at Victoria, Texas, on hold.

Mass. seeks bids for solar power installations
