(Trenton, 7/31/2009) New Jersey based utility PSE&G announced plans to put thousands of solar panels on utility poles to generate electricity. The company also said it will build some larger solar installations. Those projects will double the amount of solar power in the state.

KUWAIT CITY — Kuwait’s oil minister says he is optimistic oil prices will rise as demand for fuel increases in the fall and winter. The Kuwait News Agency also quotes Sheik Ahmed Al Abdullah Al Sabah as saying Thursday that compliance by OPEC members with recent production cuts was over 80 percent.
